The Fulkerson family has farmed the same stretch of Seneca Lake’s western slope near Dundee since 1805, and the current operation blends the winery with a working fruit farm in a way that feels genuinely agricultural rather than purely touristic. Alongside the tasting room you will find a juice bar, U-pick berries in season, and a farm stand selling preserves and produce. The wines are priced to move, with most bottles under $15.

The portfolio includes Riesling, Cayuga White, various fruit wines, and a Diamond dessert wine that is a regional staple. Fulkerson also operates a custom-crush facility for smaller Finger Lakes producers, which means they handle more juice than just their own label. The tasting experience is informal and agricultural—more farm stand than fine wine salon—which is part of the appeal. For visitors who want to see the farming side of the Finger Lakes wine industry alongside the tasting side, Fulkerson is the real deal.
